This is crazy!

Yes...I should have taken my mom's gentle advice in eloping...but this will be worth it! We have so many great friends and family members coming to the wedding. We are getting really excited! A lot has gone on since the last post and I will update it soon. Be sure to look to the left for all directions and you will also receive a sheet of info and directions when you arrive at the hotel. Looking forward to seeing all of you!

Going to Chattanooga!

I'm headed to Chattanooga Thursday just for the day to get some wedding details worked out. First, I'm headed to Hairbenders to have a "try" on my hair and see what we want to do for the "BIG DAY". Next, I'll head to The Cake Gallery to finish up details with the baker on the cake. Oooh...I'm so excited and maybe they will give us some more cupcakes! Yum!

I'll probably see mom and dad and head on home to Nashville. I will be picking up some of my bestest friends, Meredith and Angela, from the airport and then we will head with my other bestest friend Nesbitt to Mentone, Alabama for a fun girls weekend! I cannot wait to see my girls and just laugh all weekend! On Sunday, Gavin and I will then head to a tasting at Grandview of all the food! Talk about too much calories! Love it! 

I'm actually at work...

Well...for those of you checking the wedding blog...here it is!
This is the best I can do for right now without throwing a computer out the window-literally...or on the floor or screaming at the laptop while Gavin stares at me funny wondering if he should say something (that was an actual occurance).

We are so excited about the upcoming wedding and getting to see all of our friends and family! So...what I am going to try to do (no promises) is just give some details about the "soon to be getting married life". The retarded things I do, the fun parties I have, and some details about the wedding itself.

A few details just for the people who have nothing else to read today---
The bridesmaids dresses are a chocolate brown from J. Crew (I stole that dress idea from Amy Pendley-Clements) & the boys also known as the groomsmen are getting Ralph Lauren suits that are more of a dark tan color. I love the dresses and was very pleased when they came in. We are waiting for the suits and hopefully they are already in and just waiting for someone to try them on. When Gavin said that he acutally like the suits, I said "We'll take 'em!" If you do know Gav...when he makes his mind up about something...you just let him have whatever he wants! The "dads" are also getting a suits so there will be so many good lookin' men...they are taken though!

Okay...I think that is all I want to say today b/c I'm boring my own self. I think it is something like 48 days or so, but if you really want to know a countdown...ask Gavin-he's knows the hours and minutes.

No new updates except that I may have found a dress! My mom is coming up tomorrow because I want her to see it before I even think about buying it! Other than that...I'm tired of thinking about little things and just excited to get married!

Today, we (as in my mom & dad) will be confirming our place for our wedding on May 9, 2009! We will be heading to Lookout Mountain, GA beside Rock City to have the wedding and reception. Start praying for good weather so we can have it outside! The website name is www.meetatgrandview.com. It is a wonderful site that is directly on the bluff and looks over Chattanooga. I am super excited about getting this place and I know Gavin is just happy that I am happy (he liked it too though!)
